Bought this to be used with my Asus Eee laptop...but have found that any place I have a USB connector...this lamp is more than useful. Even use it with my desktop system when I don't want to heat up the room with the overhead lights.
Plus...the vendor shipped to me over a weekend. Ordered by Friday & was here by Monday afternoon. Am thinking about ordering at least one more.

Lights the whole keyboard.
Another review states that the wire isn't stiff enough to hold up the light, but the one I received is plenty stiff yet flexible. It stays exactly where I put it without a loopy knot.

This is the perfect amount of light for me. Great for being able to see the keyboard at night, with all other lights off, and not blinding, lol. Sufficient amount of light for webcam use also, and doesn't take up table space. Flexible arm makes it easy to point the light anywhere you like. Highly recommended!

I didn't get my light from amazon (ebay seller) but couldn't be happier with it. It is very bright (brighter than those little 9 led flashlights that you find in auto stores). It has a nice flexible metal arm that allows you to position the light any way you like. The light shines a clean white light that allows you to view the keys on your laptop, or use it as a desk lamp with any other usb hub or connector. I use mine mostly with my desktop in order to see general items around the desk when I am using the computer at night. I just can't believe how well this light preforms for the price and size, it honestly is so good that I am ordering another one, so I can stop using the old wasteful 120 volt ac incandescent lamp on my desk. If you are looking for a great usb powered lamp, check this one out 5*****

If you need something to light up a keyboard while in dark or dim lightinging, this is probably one of the better item to purchase. It really project across the entire keyboard of my notebook. I am not sure about what some of the other reviewers are saying that the lighting is inadequate, as this is truely not the case. The quality appears to be good and for the money paid on amazon, I believe it to be a good value.
